Meredith has several years of immigration experience working both in the private sector and for non-profit organizations such as Nationalities Service Center in Philadelphia and Ayuda in Washington D.C. Meredith is bilingual in English and Spanish and has studied abroad in Bolivia and El Salvador. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Latin American Studies from Oberlin College. Meredith has significant experience in the preparation of U-visa applications for victims of crime, helping victims of domestic violence with applications under the Violence Against Women Act (“VAWA”), consular processing, adjustment of status, naturalizations, asylum applications, cancellation of removal, and waivers of unlawful presence.
Meredith also is conversant in French and has a basic understanding of Quechua and Hebrew. Meredith is passionate about human rights and gender and racial equality and participates in various activities advocating for these causes.
